Organisations and Objectives

You can replicate your organisation within Risk Asssistant and add the objectives for each of your organisational units. This allows you to determine risks against your objectives, rather than just list all possible risks to the organisation. This is one of the central concepts of the PSARN Risk Management Methodology.

Identifying risks

Risks are identified against your organisations objectives. This makes risk identification easier as you don't have to worry about risks that don't affect your objectives. Every business faces many risks, but the only risks you should be concerned about are risks that you can treat and risks that affect you realising your businesses objectives. This reduces the time it takes to prepare a risk assessment as unnecessary risks are not identified and time is not wasted determining treatments.

When a user takes the tool offline they can re-sync with the enterprise risk register once they have an internet connection. This allows users to perform risk assessments whilst out in the field or in other areas where internet access is not available or patchy.
